 I have been striving to improve the working conditions for faculty for 19 years. 

I joined the faculty negotiating team at San Jose/Evergreen in 2005.  I eventually joined the Executive Board, and became their Grievance Officer.  I retired from the negotiating team, Executive Board, and Grievance Officer in 2018, when I retired from the District.  I have continued to work for their union as the Office Manager.

I joined the faculty negotiating team at West Valley Mission in 2012.  I eventually became the Secretary, and I have also been a grievance officer.  

I have been a member of the California Federation of Teachers part-time committee since 2009.  We work together to share information and strategies to improve the lives of part-time faculty in California.
